A+ Arts Academy was founded in August 2004. In 2006 A+ purchased a building on 5 beautiful acres with mature trees which features a gymnasium, large classrooms, a performance stage, wireless technology, mobile laptop labs and physical education classes. The spacious grounds allow daily lunch recess which includes basketball, football, jump rope, and other playground activities.
Classes are small to better serve the diverse educational needs of our students. Our teachers are certified, licensed and experienced. The majority of our staff has been with us since A+ opened in 2004. Effective teaching and learning must take place in an environment that is disciplined, organized and controlled. A+ Arts Academy promotes self-discipline and self-control while practicing preventative rather than punitive discipline. The rules and expectations that guide and govern student behavior at A+ are clearly explained and consistently enforced.
